About us

Founded in 2014 by Aaron, Joy & Kassidy Zaharia family, our annual car show is a testament to our love for vehicles and our commitment to giving back to Aaron's hometown of Walhalla, ND. What started as a small community event has grown into a remarkable celebration, and we're thrilled to be approaching our 9th year. Each year, our show attracts participants from across North Dakota, Minnesota, South Dakota, Montana, and even two provinces in Canada. We've become a regional gathering point for classic car enthusiasts, showcasing a wide range of vehicles in six distinct classes: Car 1975 & Older, Car 1976 & Newer, Truck 1975 & Older, Truck 1976 & Newer, Rat Rod, and Motorcycle. Trophies are awarded for Judges Choice in each class, along with overall People's Choice and Kid's Choice awards.

The Pembina Hills Show & Shine is more than just a car show. We believe in creating a vibrant experience for the whole family. In addition to the impressive display of classic vehicles, we host a Kids Pedal Pull and Shine and Drive to the Pembilier Nursing Center. This year, our event coincides with 20th Annual Walhalla's Giant Pumpkinfest, making it an even more memorable occasion. Throughout the weekend, you can also enjoy various street vendors and so much more.

To register for our highly anticipated car show, please follow these simple steps:

Download the registration form from our Facebook page or request a form by email here.
Complete the registration form with accurate and up-to-date information.
Calculate your entry fee based on the following rates:

$20 for the first vehicle
$5 for each additional entry

Make checks payable to "Pembina Hills Show & Shine" or conveniently submit payment through Venmo using the username @Joy-Zaharia.
Submit your completed registration form and payment by mail or email, as specified on the form.

Shine & Drive

Following the Show & Shine award ceremony, participants are invited to join the Shine & Drive as we cruise to the Pembilier Nursing Center, brining a parade of classic cars and smiles to the residents in a heartwarming tradition.

Giant pumpkinfest

A festive autumn event with the Giant Pumpkin Weigh-Off, competitions, family activities, and the Miss Pumpkinfest Pageant, alongside local vendors, ideal for embracing the fall season.
